36 weeks and counting!!!!

I know that it has been a long time since i last posted anything but we have just been so busy. I promise to try to be better at it though. I cant believe that i am already 36 weeks, it has flown by so quickly. i start my weekly visits this wednesday and i cant wait to find out just how close to delivering i really am. The nursery is finally all done and i am so glad because i was getting a little nervous about it getting done in time. I will post some pics soon of the nursery. Your aunt brandi and one of my best friends, tiffaney, through me a baby shower on the 7th. It was great and you got a lot of really cute stuff. I will have to post some pics of that soon as well. You will soon find out how many people love you and can't wait to meet you already. We are both very lucky to have such loving, caring people in our lives. You are still a mover and a shaker but i think that you are running out of room so it hasn't been that bad lately. With the heat though you sure are making mommy hot and my ankles swell. Well i guess that is all for now but soon enough i will have some pictures of you to put on here. I promise i will get on here and post more often. 27 weeks!!!

Well i am 27 weeks along now and getting very ready for you to be here. I have one more week and i will be in my 3rd trimester which means it is even closer to time for you to make me very happy. Just to update everyone my mom did get her house and i am very happy for her. All of your stuff for the nursery came in a week or so ago and tomorrow daddy and papa are going to start painting your room so that we can get everything ready for your arrival. I will post some pics of it when it is done. Well you have really started to kick alot lately and daddy finally got to feel it this week. He was excited, i could tell because his eyes kind of got big and he didn't really know what to say. I feel you almost all the time now. You are MUCH more active when i am still, so i don't really get to feel you as much when i am up and around but sometimes you surprise me and give me a really good kick to let me know that you are there. You are even strong enough now that i can sit and watch you kick and see my belly move, which is wierd and awesome at the same time. Well just wanted to update everyone on my progress and i will get back on after my next dr.'s appt which is on the 28th. Mommy and daddy love you and are ready for you to be here.

Happy Birthday Aunt Jamie/Happy Easter!!

Tomorrow is your daddies little sister jamies birthday. So we just wanted to say happy birthday to her. We are going over to grandma and papa's house to celebrate her birthday tomorrow, and i know that they are all just as anxious to meet you as me and your daddy are. Tomorrow is also easter and i can't wait to have you here next easter so that i can dress you up and you can hunt for easter eggs. By then you will be old enough to know a little bit of what is going on so it will be a very special easter for me and your daddy. Me, granny, grannies friend kathy and your aunt brandi all went to look at houses today. Granny put an offer on a house in jacksonville and hopefully she will get it. I think she would be so happy there and i really want to see her happy. I could also see you running and playing there and in the backyard. Well honey i love you and can't wait to see you.

Kickin it!

Wow brooklyn you have been kicking up a storm lately. They are really starting to get very strong but the funny part is that everytime i go to put my hand there or to tell your daddy to try to feel, you stop. Don't be so stubborn daddy wants to feel you too. We went and registered for all kinds of cute little things for you. Aunt brandi and my friend tiffaney and granny (my mom) are throwing me a baby shower sometime soon. I'm excited. All of your furniture should be coming in some time at the end of this month and your bedding should be in soon after that so we will finally get to paint your room and get everything set up, I can't wait. I know that i am only about 22 1/2 weeks but mommy just can't wait to meet you and kiss your little cheeks. I know that it will be the happiest day of mine and your daddies lives when you get here and you have alot of family and friends that can't wait to meet you as well. Mommy also started a new, less stressful job this week and i really like it so that takes some of the worry and frustration off of me for now. I also get to work with one of my best friends since when we were two, Kristina. Don't worry sweet girl you will meet her when you get here, she will be just like part of the family. well mommy loves you and can't wait to see you.

Happy Birthday Aunt Brandi!!!

Mommy, daddy and brooklyn just wanted to tell mommies little sister brandi happy 22nd birthday today. Although we won't get to see you today we will see you this weekend and we know that you will have a great birthday. We all love you very much and brooklyn can't wait to meet her "cool aunt brandi".

It's a.......

Girl!!!! We found out yesterday when we went to the dr. that you are a little baby girl. We are so excited and now mommy gets to go shopping for you. I am so ready to be able to get your nursery all put together. Your daddy and my mom went with me to the dr.'s appointment to find out. As far as the pregnancy goes everything is going good. I haven't been sick really anymore and all i have now is heartburn. I started to feel little flutters of movements about 3 weeks ago and about 1 weeks ago at 18 weeks i started to actually feel you kicking me. It's not strong enough yet for your daddy to feel you but soon it will be. It is the neatest feeling ever to feel you inside of me and mommy loves it. Now i just can't wait to hold you and see what you look like. Mommy and daddy decided to name you brooklyn paige because i was something we both really liked that we could agree on. I am half way through now with the pregnancy and i just cant wait for you to get here. The dr. said that you looked really healthy and your due date is still set for july 21st. Well mommy and daddy love you and can't wait to meet you.

The first few Dr.'s appointments

We went to our first dr.'s appointment on december 14th. Here is a photo of our little one. The doctor says that everything looks good. From the time that i found out that i was pregnant i have been feeling really sick. I am nauseous pretty much all of the time and it is hard for me to keep anything down really. Mommy and daddy bought a house so that you could have your own room and we could decorate however we want to. We have been so busy moving and painting that that has kept my mind off of being sick somewhat. The next few dr.'s appointments were pretty uneventful but we did get to hear your heartbeat and the dr. said that it sounded really great, it was 150 bpm. Now i am just so ready to find out if you are a boy or a girl so that i can start shopping.
